Yes, it is a particularly versatile solution. It handles both micro-waste and macro-waste thanks to a range of adapted nets with mesh sizes ranging from 50 µm to 1 cm. The robot is also designed for oil spill cleanup. Light pollutants are trapped by absorbents, while heavy pollution is recovered via a skimmer with a 97% selectivity rate, ensuring pure product collection without taking on unnecessary water.
The Jellyfishbot carries nets with an 80-liter capacity. The total weight collected depends directly on the nature of the debris (plastics, organic matter, hydrocarbons) and their density. To guarantee maximum efficiency on your body of water, we offer various net mesh sizes tailored to the targeted types of pollution.
The handling was designed to be simple, fast, and effortless. Thanks to a patented slide rail system, the net can be removed in a few seconds from the dock, by hand or using a boat hook. To preserve operator comfort and facilitate lifting, we recommend emptying the net before it is fully saturated. Technical downtime is thus kept to a strict minimum.
The Jellyfishbot’s active mobility solves a critical environmental challenge: stopping surface pollution before it spreads or degrades. The longer macro-waste and oil stay in the water, the more toxic they become, eventually sinking or breaking down into microplastics. Thanks to smart navigation, the robot catches floating debris instantly, adapting to changing winds and currents to permanently remove pollutants. Beyond cleaning, this mobility enables key features static systems can't offer—like infrastructure inspections, bathymetric mapping, and live video feeds. The Jellyfishbot isn't just a cleaner; it's a mobile monitoring system for your water bodies.
It plays a key role in ensuring compliance and enhancing your site's environmental performance. The robot directly fulfills surface pollution collection standards and is a major asset for achieving certifications like the Clean Port label. It also enables industrial sites to meet their Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) commitments to eliminate plastic pellet loss.
It fits seamlessly into your HSE policy by eliminating the primary risks associated with manual water body cleaning. Operators stay safe on the dock, controlling the robot remotely to prevent falls, drowning, and musculoskeletal disorders, while avoiding direct contact with toxic pollutants.
